How to rebuild your body with food and herbs after using antibiotics .

Elective Medicine - Lectures

WRITTEN BY: KOLBRÚN BJÖMSDÓTTIR HERBAL DOCTORS

BEFORE 1994

Speech delivered at the autumn meeting of Heílsuhringsm on October 9, 1993.

All the food that will be discussed here is fresh food, but the herbs are both fresh and dried. Morning glory or Calendula officinalis is familiar to many from their gardens. It is the petals that are new and then in various ways. It is a good idea to use a heaped tablespoon in one cup of tea when drinking tea from the morning lady with something special, but one teaspoon if you are drinking it for your own health. It is necessary to let the tea infuse for 10-15 minutes. with a lid over the cup so that the oils do not escape. The morning glory is considered very healing and anti-inflammatory for the gastrointestinal tract. Therefore, it is good to use for gastritis, stomach ulcers and colitis. It is also antiviral, fungal and bactericidal, and can therefore be used with good results in fungal infections, especially when the fungus Candida albicans has gained the upper hand in the colon. It has antiviral effects on the APr-8 and A2 Frunze flu viruses, as well as the Herpes simplex virus virus. This information is based on a study conducted in Russia.

The Herb Ginger:

The herb can also be used for a fungal infection in the vagina, although I do not advise anyone to try it themselves unless you first talk to a herbalist or doctor. The herb ginger or Zingiber officinalis is good to drink in tea for colds and sore throats. Fresh ginger is by far the best to take, when people feel it is getting a cold or fever, because fresh is a sweat stimulant. Dried ginger, on the other hand, is good for releasing mucus from the lungs and for warming the body. When using dried ginger, do not take more than 1/10 of a teaspoon, otherwise it will become too strong. 1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger can be used. In both cases, the tea must stand for 10-15 minutes before drinking.

Onion:

Onions are expectorant and bactericidal. The onion contains essential oils, which in many cases can be used instead of antibiotics. The onion releases mucus by stimulating the capillaries in the pulmonary bronchi to transport the mucus up. The onion therefore works very similarly to the garlic. This only applies to fresh onions. The Ö11 substances disappear if the onion is dried. It is good to make syrup from the onion, then put a few layers of sugar and onion alternately in a bowl and let stand for 3-4 days. Then pour off the syrup.

Oats:

Oats are a very nutritious food, they not only reduce the cholesterol level in the blood, as most people know, but they are also very nutritious for the nervous system and I mean strengthening for the nerves but not soothing. There are alkaloids that have this effect. It is best to use whole goats, which then need to be soaked overnight and then boiled for a few minutes. However, people with gluten intolerance should beware of oats. It is best to eat whole goats, which have been soaked overnight and then boiled for 3-4 minutes, then the nutrients are most useful.

Lemon:

One is the fruit that the masses have used over the centuries to kill colds, and that is lemons. They are very bactericidal and have been shown to kill up to 20 species of bacteria. It is essential oils that have this effect. Therefore, it is possible to drink pure lemon water when people feel that they are getting a cold or fever and at the same time prevent the need for antibiotics. Do not take lemons for too long as this may cause the blood to thin out. It is good to rest after 4 weeks of taking. It is good to take 1 tbsp. of juice in a glass of water three times a day. To strengthen the vascular system or stimulate blood circulation where it is slow.

cayenne pepper:

it is good to take cayenne pepper or Capsicum minimum, but in very small amounts, right in front of the tip of a knife. The reason for this effect is that cayenne pepper stimulates certain prostaglandins, which increase blood flow throughout the body, the pepper also stimulates digestion and therefore people with weak gastric mucosa should not take cayenne pepper.

rosemary:

Often after prolonged use of antibiotics, people feel that they have little energy at their disposal, even if they try hard to do sports. Then it is good to take the rosemary (Rosemarin officinalis) herb. It has a lot of essential oils, e.g. camphor, borneol, cineol, more oils and also rosemary acid. The rosemary acid has the effect of stimulating blood flow in the limbs. It is also soothing and nourishing for the nervous system. It is good to take 1 tbsp. three times a day to the fund.
