'Who wants to  up ...?' When asked, the answer is usually 'to be like mother' or 'to be like father'. The 'role model' of children will always be the father, mother, aunt, uncle or other close relatives they see. Some people forget that we can have a lot of influence not only on our children's behavior but also on our eating habits.



Becoming a healthy role model is the most important job of parents. From the time children wake up to the time they watch their parents. They observe us, accept the hints we give, and imitate us. Then the best way to easily understand what a healthy lifestyle is is to be a good role model for our child.


As a parent, how do you take care of your body and health, how do you respond to stress in a healthy way, and how do you achieve a positive outlook on life? You should be the best example of children.


Here are some tips to become a healthier role model:


1.Make sure you choose healthy foods:


The parents themselves control the food supply lines to the family. Although children may force their parents to eat malnutrition, adults need to act responsibly when deciding which foods to store regularly at home.


Children will not tolerate hunger. When they are hungry, they take food that is in the fridge, on the shelf, or on the dining table. Therefore, adults should take care to keep fruits and other healthy snacks in a place where they can be easily seen and picked up.


2. Habit in the basket until the oven:


Be sure to develop food preferences early in life. So provide a variety of foods. Even when children are babies, likes and dislikes begin to form. Try giving your child a fresh meal at different times. You do not have to eat it when you first give it. Do not force the child to eat. But it should be encouraged to eat.


Be sure to raise the awareness that soda and other sweeteners are high in calories. Water and milk are the best drinks. If they do not have junk food around, they are not going to eat it. Instead, the child who sees us eating fruits and other healthy foods will surely imitate it. The habit of the basket is up to the oven! Then children should be encouraged to engage in healthy habits at an early age.


3. reward or punishment:


Food is a way to nourish our body. Consumption of food as a reward, or as a punishment, may lead to unhealthy eating habits. Serve a variety of healthy foods. Allow your children to eat on their own without any pressure.


Food is not love. Find other great ways to say 'I love you'. When children use foods to reward and show affection for them, they begin to use food to cope with stress or other emotions. Give hugs, compliments, and attention instead of food treats.


4. Family is often the happiest:


Finding time to sit down as a family to eat home-cooked food sets a good example for children about the importance of healthy eating. Moreover, it brings the family together. Even aspiring teenagers love to eat delicious, home-cooked meals! Regular family meals provide relief for all. Must sit down to dinner together at the same time every day (or for breakfast).


Family meals provide an opportunity to learn about your children's daily lives. Getting the family around a table for food is a great opportunity to talk to the children and listen to them, away from TV, phones and computers.


Talk about something fun and enjoyable at meal time. Turn off the television. Take phone calls later. Try to make eating a stress-free time.


There are many things we can do to help children develop healthy eating habits. For example, when giving children a variety of foods, it helps to get all the nutrients they need from each food group.
